Actalent Vibration & Stress Engineer in Everett, Washington

Description:

Design through test - looking for someone to run the gauntlet of things: Person would review current analysis processes for how they run modal and stress analysis currently and then depending, enhance these - taking into account of all variables - they analyze product and then test it and it doesn't always correlate so they want to improve this so they're more aligned - helpful to have a lot of experience running analysis (especially FEA analysis) - breaking parts into the required elements to run an analysis - once back in test lab, develop vibration test procedures, interpret test results, and correlate results to analysis and iterate on updating the processes - deliverable would be a design standard.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering

  • Masters in Mechanical Engineering preferred; focus on Vibration

  • 15+ years of mechanical design and analysis

  • Expertise in 10+ years of FEA, Vibration and Stress analysis

  • Aerospace Engineering a plus

  • Experience correlating analysis to test results

  • Test experience a plus
