Description

We are seeking an innovative problem solver to join our Fluke Service Engineering team primarily tasked with assisting in the design, development, deployment, and support of test equipment.

Work as part of a service engineering team that develops and maintains test solutions for new and legacy products. The primary focus will be the Development and support of Fluke test solutions using a variety of technologies and hardware including, automated and manual test solutions, in support of calibration and repair.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Successful candidates will work well in a team or independently and take on technical leadership roles.

  • Assist with concepts for potential projects that will significantly improve efficiency or expand calibration capability.

  • Collaborate with Service Engineer Team Members and Management to ensure that Service Engineering initiatives and project deliverables meet the standards defined by the Service Engineering team.

  • Assist with planning and executing the assembly, installation, testing, operation, maintenance, and repair of new and existing automation systems, test fixtures and other equipment.

  • Develop/support automated and manual test procedures.

  • Possess an understanding of quality management system policies and procedures.

  • Perform product life cycle management activities such as participate in product quality meetings, assist with product end of life, review ECOs for service impact, generate, publish and maintain service documentation.

  • Provide engineering support to Service Labs and partners which may include:

  • Assisting in calibration, adjustment and repair of products.

  • Assist in troubleshooting and resolving hardware and software issues with test methodologies, test equipment, test stations and test fixtures.

  • Provide engineering input and/or solutions to Kaizens and other internal organizational initiatives to improve depot efficiency and throughput effecting TAT and revenue.

  • FBS - Daily Management, Visual Management, Kaizen, KPI, Advanced problem solving.

  • May require some travel.

Qualifications

The successful candidate will possess the following combination of education and experience:

  • Engineering degree in EE or ME, or 4+ years equivalent work experience.

  • Programming experience in languages such as C++, C#, Java, Labview, Visual Basic, Python or METCAL.

  • Capability to evaluate and solve complex problems

  • Ability to multitask, contribute and collaborate in a team environment.

  • Ability to read and interpret schematics and engineering drawings.

  • Ability to design, build and validate test fixtures

  • Experience in test equipment calibration, adjustment and repair.

  • Ability to develop and execute testing methodologies

  • Knowledgeable in metrology practices such as measurement uncertainties and accuracies is a plus.

  • Experience using technology tools (CAD, 3D Printing, Share Point, Power Automate)

  • An analytical thinker who is able to solve open-ended problems.

  • Must be a US Citizen or a US Permanent Resident due to ITAR requirements.

The salary range for this position (in local currency) is 63,000.00 - 117,000.00. Base pay offered may vary depending on various factors, including, but not limited to: job-related knowledge; skills; experience; and other eligibility factors such as geographic location. The Total Rewards package includes competitive base pay and an opportunity to enroll in a variety of benefit programs, generally including health insurance, flexible spending accounts, health savings accounts, retirement savings plans, life and disability insurance programs, and several programs that provide for both paid and unpaid time away from work.
