Participates in the development and management, and performs limited analysis of process and product baselines. Works under general direction to coordinate and conduct product and subsystem level technical design reviews and audits for new and derivative products. Performs routine analysis of product trades and/or changes and assists in the development of change proposals. Participates in the development and implementation of Configuration and Data Management standards, processes, systems and tools.

Utilizes data gathered from customers to assist in the definition of Configuration and Data Management requirements for product hardware, software and engineering design data systems. Assists in the integration, routine analysis and resolution of issues with engineering product structure. Assists with the development and implementation of engineering technical program plans of limited scope including impacts, risks and incorporation of lessons learned. Works under general supervision.

Our teams are currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including Associate and Experienced Technical Integration Engineers.

This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

This position is an onsite position. The selected candidate will be required to perform work onsite in Everett, WA.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Initiates and manages process and product trade studies to improve product safety, decrease product cost, and increase product throughput

  • Develops and executes integration plans to ensure airplane configuration data is properly managed and tracked through product lifecycle

  • Interface with program IPTSs to drive successful collaborations on airplane-level design and change projects

  • Lead Technical Interchange meetings with Suppliers and Partners

  • Provide technical oversight for all phases of product spatial integration

  • Communicate project status, risks, issues, and opportunities to ALIT and Program Leadership

  • Leads the development of technical solutions across multiple disciplines.

  • Provides technical data aggregation and interpretation in support of program critical milestones

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry

  • 2+ years’ experience in engineering design or manufacturing engineering

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience)

  • 5+ years of higher education and/or related work experience. Higher education includes college, university, technical school, licensing/certification programs, etc.)

  • 2+ years of design or manufacturing engineering is highly desirable

  • Experience in CATIA/ENOVIA, etc. is preferred

  • Experience leading technical trade studies across multiple disciplines and is capable of providing technical recommendations to leadership.

  • Strong technical skills and demonstrated ability to understand complex problems

  • Strong project and time management skills; Must be able to manage and prioritize multiple projects in support of key milestones and aircraft delivery schedules

  • Excellent communication skills; Ability to clearly communicate complex scenarios with internal and external Leaders and technical SMEs is required

Typical Education/Experience:

Associate (Level 2)

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 2 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. Master). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

Experienced (Level 3)

Bachelor's degree and typically 5 or more years' experience in an engineering classification or a Master's degree with typically 5 or more years' experience in an engineering classification or a PhD degree with experience in an engineering classification. Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry. ABET is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

Expert (Level 4)

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 7 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD+4 years' related work experience, Master+7 years' related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

Pay Range Level 2: $79,050-$106,950

Pay Range Level 3: $96,050- $129,950

Pay Range Level 4: $120,700-$163,300
