Fortive Corporation Talent Planning & Learning and Development Specialist in Everett, Washington

This role critically supports Talent Planning and Learning & Development processes across the Americas. Your main objective will be to ensure efficient talent review, performance management, and our learning management system processes and support. This role will focus heavily on driving continuous improvement and process efficiency across Talent Acquisition.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide maintenance of succession plans within the system that is leveraged for staffing critical roles and remove terminated employees when applicable.

  • Support Talent Calibration systems issues by supporting managers/HR in system-related matters.

  • Support performance reviews by handling performance assessment launch and any downstream system updates due to grievance addressal.

  • Set up LMS courses, reporting, and launch training; establish governance for follow-ups/reminders and ensure facilitator lists remain current.

  • Enter learning courses into the Learning Management System (LMS) and indicate the required facilitator profile as needed.

  • Support operational activities for learning courses, including enrolling users, compiling pre-session attendee emails, sending calendar invites for pre-work, and facilitating the ordering and delivery of participant learning materials. This applies to virtual or facilitator-led learning courses as well as multi-session learning.

  • Support compliance COE with bi-annual training courses, including enrollment and unenrollment and ensuring reporting requests are completed in line with project plans.

  • Support key LMS maintenance and setup activities, including loading content into the LMS, testing/escalating bugs, sending out pre-work / surveys, and configuring reports as needed for the sites.

  • Identify opportunities for process optimization and collaborate with key stakeholders to implement improvements, optimize workflows, and enhance the overall effectiveness across talent.

  • Tech-savviness: Comfort and proficiency in using various HR software, applicant tracking systems (ATS), and case management tools.

  • Proactive approach: Self-motivated and driven to take initiative, anticipate needs, and exceed expectations in talent acquisition and learning and development administration.

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field.

  • 3-5 years’ experience in HR operations role, preferably in a talent acquisition.

  • Proficiency in using applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other HR software.

  • Must be proficient in English; preferred language capabilities Spanish.
