The Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is seeking an Industrial Engineer (Level 2, 3, or 4) to join the Supply Chain Engineering teams located in Everett or Renton, W A.

Position Overview:

As a Supply Chain Industrial Engineer , you will partner with Supply Chain Operations to identifying and mitigate any risks to the Boeing Production System. You will also partner with Procurement Agents to identify risks to protect BCA production health. Our team’s currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including Associate, Mid-Level or Senior engineers.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Performs capacity analysis and recommends an optimal execution strategy based on the supplier resource (labor, machine, and production system) to enable an efficient, effective, and optimized production process.

  • Prepare, assess, and conduct post-activities for a Production Readiness Assessment.

  • Create, develop and utilize data analytics/modeling to enhance decision making and extend this to the external supply base.

  • Applies industrial engineering concepts, approaches and techniques to product, process and services to meet program requirements.

  • Conducts workflow design and analysis.

  • Develops and implements plans and programs for facility/factory modifications and revisions to operating methods.

  • Creates product assembly instructions and standardizes assembly practices.

  • Provides production, supply chain logistics, performance visibility and recovery planning support.

  • Ensures compliance with established industry safety, design standards and ergonomic guidelines.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Completed Bachelor's Degree or higher in Engineering.

  • Able to travel 50%-75% of the time.

  • 1+ years of experience do you have with project leadership leading cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • 2+ years of experience in LEAN manufacturing, project management, and interfacing with senior leadership.

  • 2+ years of experience in process modeling and simulation.

  • Proficient in structured problem solving and strong analytical skills.

Typical Education / Experience:

  • Associate (Level 2): Bachelor's degree and typically 2 or more years' experience in an engineering classification or a Master's degree with experience in an engineering classification. ABET is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

  • Mid-Level (Level 3): Bachelor's degree and typically 5 or more years' experience in an engineering classification or a Master's degree with typically 3 or more years' experience in an engineering classification with experience in an engineering classification. ABET is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

  • S enior (Level 4): Bachelor's degree and typically 9 or more years' experience in an engineering classification or a Master's degree with typically 7 or more years' experience in an engineering classification with typically 4 or more years' experience in an engineering classification. ABET is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

Pay Range:

(Everett and Renton, WA)

Associate (Level 2): $77,350 - $104,650

Mid-Level (Level 3): $92,650 - $125,350

Senior (Level 4): $109,650 - $148,350
