Aerotek is Hiring Structures Mechanics for Backshop Work!

Pay Range: $35-50/hour DOE (per diem included)

Job Description:

We are looking for skilled Structures Mechanics to join our team for the repair and overhaul of aircraft assemblies. This includes working on cowlings, inlets, leading edges, ailerons, and other components. The position is based in a large, specialized component MRO facility in Everett, WA.

Key Responsibilities:

• Repair and overhaul aircraft assemblies such as cowlings, inlets, leading edges, and ailerons.

• Work on doors and horizontal stab skin panels, removing and replacing skin panels with solid rivets and hilocks.

• Rework dents and trim away metal material using die grinders and DA sanders.

• Drill out and replace hi-loks and other blind fasteners with high precision to prevent overlarge holes.

• Use various tools including drills, bucking bars, rivet guns, socket wrenches, and hi-lok pliers.

• Maintain the in-out production schedule of overhauled units.

• Participate in orientation and safety training during the first week.

Pay: $35-$50/hour DOE (per diem included)

Shifts:

• Monday through Friday, 5 x 8 hours

• May be assigned a 4 x 10 hours schedule

• Contract Duration: 12 months
