A Shipping/Receiving Clerk is needed for one of the world's largest suppliers of aerospace and defense products in the Everett, WA area. This role involves receiving and shipping operations, including paperwork preparation, logistics coordination, equipment operation, and record-keeping, while adhering to compliance standards and ensuring efficient inventory management.

location: Everett, Washington

salary: $18.91 - 24.91 per hour

work hours: 8am to 4pm

education: High School

responsibilities:

• Receive shipment requirements and follow routing guidelines.

• Prepare shipping papers ensuring compliance with regulations.

• Book shipments with couriers and forwarders.

• Maintain records of all shipments.

• Load/unload inbound/outbound shipments and validate materials.

• Use material handling equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks.

• Maintain general housekeeping of the shipping/receiving area.

• Perform data entry tasks related to received materials and shipping information.

Skills: Computer skills to include data entry of received materials, entering shipping information, etc.

Desired Skills:

• Knowledge of SAP and Excel (look ups, pivot tables).

• Manufacturing industry experience.

• Previous shipping/receiving experience.

Education: High school diploma or educational equivalent.
