Job Title: Shipping Material Handler

Job Description

Facilitate the efficient and accurate shipping of finished product. The Shipping Material Handler is an integral part of the production team and is required to have comprehensive knowledge about the material and understand the manufacturing workflow. The employee will be hands-on in the preparation, packaging, and load-out of completed product.

Responsibilities

  • Efficiently and accurately handle the shipping of finished products.

  • Prepare, package, and load out completed products.

  • Operate a forklift to move materials and products.

  • Manage inventory, picking, packing, and loading tasks.

  • Maintain a clear understanding of the manufacturing workflow.

Essential Skills

  • 2+ years of experience operating a forklift.

  • Experience in construction, warehouse, or manufacturing environments.

  • Ability to lift, push, and pull 70 pounds throughout the workday.

  • Full range of mobility in upper and lower body, including the ability to reach overhead.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Previous shipping and/or receiving experience is a plus.

  • Comfortable working in an industrial manufacturing environment.

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to track, retain, and integrate information.

  • Ability to confidently interface with all levels of the company organization.

  • Ability to meet critical deadlines and schedules.

  • Fluent in the use of Word, Excel, Outlook, and Adobe.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Everett, Washington.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $28.00/hr.
