Wage Pay Scale - \$19.00 - \$21.00 JOB SUMMARY The Senior Master Specialist will provide assistance to improve production procedures, processes and controls. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS * Comply with Westlake Safety Policies and Procedures * Conduct research, design plus development of all manufacturing processes inclusive of production flow, assembly procedures and production equipment * Perform assignments providing best possible highest quality level * Prepare standard costs and evaluation on multiple product lines for different facilities * Coordinate manufacturing launch of new and revised products inclusive of established goals, team members training and results evaluation * Manage, train, guide and develop subordinate Manufacturing Clerk personnel skills * Design, develop and test all cost-justifying different machinery, tools and equipment for suggested manufacturing methods * Conduct product and process analysis for quality improvement, cost reduction and enhanced efficiency * Regular attendance, timeliness and scheduling flexibility EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE The employee should have the following: * 1 - 2 years\' experience in a relevant field ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORK ENVIRONMENT The employee should possess the ability to: * Prolong standing or in stationary position * Complete repetitive movements such as typing * Be exposed to sounds or noise levels that maybe uncomfortable * Complete repetitive movements * Wear all required personal protective equipment (hearing, vision and hardhat protection) * Lift/move/transport items up to 50 pounds * Ability to move or traverse about the facilities * Must be able to ascend/descend stairs or ladders * Ability to work around dust, chemicals, and other substances, and in various environmental conditions This is not necessarily an all-inclusive list of job-related responsibilities, duties, skills, efforts, requirements or working conditions.
