What you will do:

  • Ensure Precision: Meticulously verify engineering drawings to ensure they adhere to best practices and industry standards.

  • Collaborative Problem-Solving: Work closely with engineering personnel to identify and resolve discrepancies, ensuring seamless project execution.

  • Redline Expertise: Accurately mark up drawings in electronic format and effectively communicate necessary changes back to the engineering team.

  • Versatile Team Player: Demonstrate the ability to work both independently and as part of a cohesive team, adapting to various project needs.

  • Continuous Improvement: Engage in additional tasks and responsibilities as required, contributing to the overall success of the engineering team.

Qualifications you must have:

  • Typically requires HS Diploma or AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience

  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future. RTX will not offer sponsorship for this position

  • Technical Proficiency: Strong command of Microsoft Office suite, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.

  • 3D Modeling Skills: Proficient in reading and interpreting 3D models, drawings, and Bills of Materials (BOM).

  • Effective Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, essential for collaborating with team members and stakeholders.

  • GD&T Mastery: Fundamental understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) principles.

  • Presentation Skills: Confidently present information and respond to questions from managers, clients, and customers.

  • Analytical Acumen: Ability to calculate and understand tolerance stack-up analysis using basic algebra and geometry.

  • Problem-Solving Prowess: Demonstrated ability to solve practical problems and navigate a variety of concrete variables with limited standardization.

  • Instruction Interpretation: Proficient in interpreting a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

What we prefer:

  • NX Expertise: Experience with NX (formerly Unigraphics) software.

  • Teamcenter Familiarity: Knowledge of Siemens Teamcenter.

  • Aerospace Experience: Experience with commercial aircraft monuments or other interior products.

  • Industry Standards: Familiarity with aerospace standards and best practices.

  • Adobe Proficiency: Skilled in using Adobe Reader for document management.

  • ASME Y14 Knowledge: Understanding of ASME Y14 standards and their application.

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.

The salary range for this role is $60,350 to $81,650; however, Raytheon Technologies considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, education/training, and key skills.

The salary range for this role is 37,000 USD - 83,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.

Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
