The Boeing Company is hiring a Senior Level Aerodynamics Tech Analysts to support the Flight Sciences Airplane Flight Manuals team in Everett, WA.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location.

Position Responsibilities:

Manage the development and release of the performance sections of the Airplane Flight Manuals (AFM), both digital (AFM-DPI) and paper. Manage changes to performance software supported by group, including prioritization, scheduling, requirements definition, testing, and release of changes. Define work statement for manuals and performance tool changes. Work close with supporting IT organization.

Qualified individuals should have the capabilities to perform complex analyses to support design, specification, compliance, certification, support, sales and product development. Verify the implementation process of new or modified analytical tools. Prepare, maintain and review engineering data, certification reports, performance documentation, manuals and similar documentation. Comply with, verify and approve data for conformance to engineering specifications, regulatory compliance and customer requirements. Interface with others to provide schedule and project status and ensures requirements for analytical data. Oversee training activities, instructs and mentor others. Work under consultative directions.

The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Associates degree, related work experience or an equivalent combination

  • 9 or more years of experience working with Aerodynamics, Airplane performance, or Flight Operations

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Experience in aircraft performance

  • Experience working in Linux platform

  • Strong technical computing skills

  • Strong analytical skills

Typical Education/Experience:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Associate) and typically 9 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Bachelor+7 years' related work experience, 11 years' related work experience, etc.)

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range: $91,800 - $124,200.
