Providence St. Joseph Health Security Officer in Everett, Washington

Description Receives general direction from the Security Manager, Supervisor or Lead Security Officer. Performs a variety of security responsibilities to protect patients, visitors, staff, physicians, property and facilities from accidents, bodily harm, fire, theft, vandalism, hazardous materials, and illegal entry. Enforces Providence Health Care, facility and security policies and regulations. Investigate reports of potential criminal conduct against PRMCE staff, visitors, staff, and property; responds and assists in restraining patients; detains individuals when necessary; provides protective services to high risk areas; and performs Notary services. Required qualifications: Must have a valid driver's license with a good driving record. Must be able to successfully complete the Field Training Officer Program including Customer Service, De-escalation, Defensive Tactics, OC/Pepper Spray, CEW/Taser, Handcuffing, and CPR, as well as Basic Healthcare Security Training, and Notary within six months of hire. Preferred qualifications: Associate's Degree 1 year Law Enforcement/Security/Military experience or two years of responsible work experience and prior experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
