Our broad approach delivers key results for our customers by achieving cloud driven modernization and workplace and operational transformation to own the business in a secure environment. * You must be legally authorized to work in United States without the need of employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future * Job Title: SCCM engineer (Remote) Roles & Responsibilities: Deploy, configure, and manage endpoint devices using SCCM. Plan and execute software deployments, updates, and patches. Provide technical support for client devices, including desktops, laptops, and mobile devices. Ensure endpoint devices comply with security policies and standards. Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues on endpoint devices. Maintain accurate documentation of configurations, processes, and procedures. Work closely with other IT teams to ensure seamless integration and support of endpoint devices. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. 8 years of experience and minimum of 3 years of experience in endpoint management and support. Proficiency in SCCM (Intune a plus). Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems. Familiarity with network protocols and troubleshooting. Preferred Qualifications: Certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate or similar. Experience with scripting and automation tools (e.g., PowerShell). Soft skills: Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and accuracy. Salary and Other Compensation: Applications will be accepted until 10/13/2024. The annual salary for this position is between $ 100,000.00 - $ 115,000.00 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
