Aerotek Sanitation Worker *$17.50* in Everett, Washington

A research company in Everett is hiring for their cleaning services team. This person will be doing janitorial work, specifically cleaning animal cages and the area around them. Preferred are candidates who have previous kennel experience or who have worked around animals.

Pay: $17.50/hr

Shift:

  • Schedule assigned may be 6am-3pm, 7am-4pm, 8am-5pm, or 9am-6pm. All candidates will need to be able to work weekends! Shift will be assigned after completing onboarding. 2 days off in a row are expected, which may be weekdays.

Overview:

  • Very active position, pushing and pulling large caging

  • Removing any debris inside and outside cages

  • Loading and unloading the cages to/from large rack washer

  • Operate the washer

  • Inspecting the caging and prepping it for future use

  • QA check and documentation of cleaning

  • Cleaning duties also include mopping and trash

  • Able to lift 50 pounds

  • Work in warm environments (80 degrees, and wearing PPE) at a face pace

  • Required to be comfortable working in a medical research facility

Preferred:

  • Kennel experience, working with animals in the past

  • Experience working in a warm environment while wearing PPE
