Adecco US, Inc. Residential Care Manager-RN in Everett, Washington

Are you a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) with a passion for providing exceptional care and leadership in a long-term care setting? We are looking for a Resident Care Manager (RN) to join our team and supervise the day-to-day nursing activities at our facility. This role is essential in ensuring the highest quality of care for our residents in a compassionate and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a written care plan for each resident, ensuring all medical and nursing treatments align with their wishes and needs.

  • Oversee the planning, scheduling, and revision of the Minimum Data Set (MDS), including the implementation of Care Area Assessments (CAAs) and Triggers.

  • Conduct daily rounds to ensure nursing staff are effectively performing their assignments.

  • Review nurses' notes to ensure they are comprehensive and accurately describe the care provided and the residents' responses.

  • Foster a positive working relationship with all facility staff to meet the residents' needs.

  • Participate in discharge planning reviews and prepare reports for the Care Plan Committee as required.

  • Delegate, train, evaluate, and support RN, LPN, and CNA personnel.

  • Provide direct nursing care when necessary.

  • Assist the Director of Nursing Services and fill in as needed.

  • Participate in facility surveys conducted by authorized government agencies.

  • Recommend changes in procedures, policies, methods, and education to ensure the highest level of quality care is provided.

  • Stay updated on changes in the nursing profession by attending continuing education programs and leading in-service training for nursing personnel.

  • Maintain a warm, patient, enthusiastic, and calm environment for residents and staff.

Qualifications:

  • Nursing degree from an accredited college or university.

  • Current, active, and unencumbered RN license in the state.

  • At least 1 year of experience as a supervisor in a healthcare setting.

  • Training in rehabilitative and restorative nursing practices.

  • Knowledge of nursing and medical practices, procedures, laws, regulations, and guidelines related to nursing care facilities.

  • Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) and computer documentation systems.

  • Commitment to maintaining the confidentiality of all resident care information in compliance with HIPAA guidelines.
