Food Services of America Job ID 2019-6078 Job Location US-WA-Everett Working Hours Monday-Friday 5:30 am to 2 pm Overview Provide customer service and clerical support for Warehouse Operations Join Our Team We do drug tests and background investigation. Responsibilities Greet all incoming truck drivers identifying their scheduled apt. and direct them accordingly (dock door/waiting area) Schedule all apts. using Retalix Dock Scheduling program (RDS/NCR) Be in constant contact with lumper service to expedite unloading. Enter catch weights for items that require them and prepare paperwork for receivers. Keep truck movement updated in RDS for all interested parties (in yard/at dock/being scanned/finished) and stay aware of space available on the receiving docks. Receive and transfer all cross - Dock PO's. Print all next day's receiving paperwork. Enter all Vendor Discrepancies into the system attaching pictures if appropriate. - Also notify DOT and backhaul vendors of discrepancies/ coordinate return of all R3 and Houston's Enter receiving corrections in the system (Code 2's) Answer phone calls to scheduling phone. Audit receiving paperwork daily for accuracy and to prepare for its scanning. Send out periodic e-mails to specific groups about rescheduled and late loads Reply to e-mails in a timely manner. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications MS Office experience preferred. Excellent organizational skills. Detail oriented. Ability to handle multiple tasks and work independently producing positive results with minimal supervision. Problem resolution skills required. Must be able to prioritize work and meet deadlines in a fast-paced warehouse environment. Excellent oral and written communication skills required. High School Diploma or GED. Must pass all pre-employment screenings. PHYSICAL Frequent sitting and standing for prolonged periods of time. Constant use of both arms/hands while reaching/handling/grasping while using phone, record data, computer entry, compiling information and lifting. Frequent stand/walk within office or warehouse areas. Frequent bend/twist at waist/knees to and from standing position while performing routine warehouse functions. Frequent bend/twist at waist/knees to and from seated position while performing routine office functions. Occasionally climb stairs to and from work areas while carrying approx. 6-8, 1lb. driver packets. Frequent lifting, 10 to 50 pounds. Constant use of visual, speech and hearing abilities necessary to perform essential functions. MENTAL Able to handle a high volume/quantity workload at a fast pace to meet required deadlines. Ability to handle last minute changes/corrections and customers over phone. Organize/prioritize workload with accuracy and efficiently. Must be detail-oriented, have mathematical abilities and be accurate in mathematical calculations. Good interpersonal skills required. Contact with drivers/co-workers/supervisors and customers. Must possess both oral/written communication skills. WORKING CONDITIONS Within warehouse and office setting. Work stresses include heavy workload and dealing with deadlines under frequent interruption. *Constantly over 80% time, Frequently 20-80% time, and Occasionally under 20% time.
