Employer:Fluke Electronics CorporationJob Title:Quality Assurance EngineerLocation:Everett, WashingtonDuties:Manage day-to-day Quality Assurance (QA) operations and act as the first point of contact for the Web Infrastructure team. Define optimize QA standards and processes to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of requirements, design, development, testing and deployment activities. Define the strategy and infrastructure for automating all forms of QA, including tools required, workflows and training of existing resources, using industry standard tools ensuring scalability for future platform growth. Contribute to and improve software test lifecycle and development standards. Articulate problem statements, needs and requirements. Advise on new techniques and estimated costs associated with new or revised programs and utilities, taking into consideration personnel, time, and hardware requirements, and make trade-off analyses. Develop general and detailed documentation describing system specifications and operating instructions. Write scripts to facilitate functional, unit, regression and other forms of testing for existing and new requirements. Drive down the amount of manual testing required for better quality and go-to-market speed. Work closely with the teams’ product owner, senior architect and platform manager to define and plan product releases. Facilitate peer reviews, demos, and business stakeholder sign-offs. Benchmark quality of development efforts and code releases against performance metrics. Report on status using daily visual management. Coach and mentor members of the team in best practices and QA standards to create a mindset of qualityRequires: Master's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related field (willing to accept foreign equivalent) plus three (3) years of experience building and maintaining an enterprise-level QA process within the information systems/technology field. Or, alternatively, a bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in computer science, computer engineering or a related field (willing to accept foreign equivalent) and five (5)
