REID MIDDLETON INC Project Surveyor in EVERETT, Washington
Reid Middleton, is a civil/structural engineering and survey firm based in Everett, Washington, seeks a Project Surveyor to join our growing survey practice. Qualified candidate must have the following qualifications:
- Experience working with Trimble survey equipment and software, Autodesk Civil 3D, AutoCAD, and Scanning Topography Equipment.
- Working knowledge of general office software such as Microsoft Word, Excel, etc.
- 10 years or more experience in positions of increasing responsibility.
- Bachelor's degree in Surveying from an accredited four-year college or university, or certificate from an accredited technical school survey program a plus.
- PLS certification
- Effective oral and written communication skills
Excellent interpersonal skills
The ideal individual for this position will have recent land surveying experience in a leadership role including hands on experience with topographic, construction, and boundary surveys. Experience will include both field work and office work required for the creation of topographic base maps and preparation of data for use in the field. Drone/UAV and laser scanning technology a plus.
The Project Surveyor position will coordinate and direct survey technicians and field crews to ensure projects are completed within technical, project, budgetary, and time constraints. The Project Surveyor position will assist the Survey Manager in the organization of proposed and existing projects by providing information relevant to the preparation of estimated job hour requirements, schedules, fees, and other contractual agreements.
This position requires physical labor including strenuous walking, digging, staking, and lifting. Must be able to lift 50 pounds. The successful candidate must have a valid WA driver's license, and be able to obtain a Flaggers card; and must be willing to work out of town at times.
