This position is for an experienced Program Management professional, who works independently to lead medium-sized aerospace programs and integrated program teams. Detail-oriented with an ability to implement comprehensive program plans and schedules, demonstrated affinity for developing strong customer relationships, analyzes data, leads risk and opportunity management, recommends resolutions for program problems, manages vendors, maintains progress reports, and participates in contract negotiation.

What You Will Do:

  • Works autonomously with limited oversight leading medium programs by developing comprehensive program plans, schedules and budgets for programs under his/her responsibility.

  • Prepares and presents Gate Reviews, monthly Program Management Reviews (PMR) or Customer Report-Out on programs under his/her jurisdiction.

  • Analyzes data and monitors program’s progress-to-plan to ensure adherence to contract scope of work, cost, schedule, and technical specifications.

  • Leads program management content for business development activity within his/her statement of work.

  • Demonstrates adherence to Collins Management System’s continuous improvement initiatives (CMS, CORE, etc) to optimize efficiency and quality.

  • Directs all program phases from inception through completion.

  • Manages the contract lifecycle, cost, schedule and performance of company programs or subsystems of major programs.

  • Establishes and managed to cost focused performance targets and directs work to achieve these targets.

  • Proactively identifies and addresses risks and, and develops solutions to problems which require critical thinking, creativity, and innovation to ensure the successful completion of projects/programs.

  • Identifies and capitalizes on program opportunities to increase company revenues and customer satisfaction.

  • Leads program work with the various functional organizations to ensure alignment with the project/program objectives.

  • Participates in the negotiation of contracts and contractual changes, including coordinating preparation of proposals, business plans, proposal work statements, operational budgets, specifications, annual cost escalations and pricing and any other financial conditions of contracts to ensure legal compliance and to protect the organization’s interests.

  • Excels in cultivating a strong customer affinity and taking ownership of the customer experience.

  • Responsible for building and maintaining positive relationships with customers, ensuring their satisfaction, and driving brand loyalty.

  • Develops a deep understanding of the customers’ needs and preferences and will proactively seek opportunities to enhance the customer experience.

  • Interfaces with customers on program specifications and requirements to ensure successful program scoping and confirmation of targets.

  • Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills and will be adept at resolving customer issues and concerns in a timely and effective manner.

  • Demonstrate a track record of successfully implementing strategies to improve customer satisfaction and retention.

  • Work onsite in Everett, WA

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 12 years of relevant experience.

  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future. RTX will not offer sponsorship for this position

Qualifications We Prefer:

  • Program management experience leading cross functional teams

  • Previous experience working with operations/manufacturing engineering organizations

  • Experience using Integrated Project Scheduling software

  • Experience in new product introduction

The salary range for this role is 96,000 USD - 200,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
