[]{#Hlk15270516}SUMMARY: Under general supervision, the Procurement Specialist I is responsible for the procurement of assigned commodities and services []{#Hlk123209216}required to support ATS' business goals. Uses best procurement practices to obtain lowest total cost of ownership for assigned items.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • []{#_Hlk123209607}Performs purchasing duties to plan and procure supplies, materials, equipment and services.
  • Prepares RFIs, RFPs, and RFQs for goods and services. Evaluates supplier proposals and recommends contract awards.
  • Prepares and executes purchase orders and agreements for goods and services in support of company business goals.
  • Executes purchases for critical goods or services using standard format for contracts and purchase orders.

``` - Procures planned goods, raw materials and chemicals to maintain adequate inventory levels to increase production proficiencies and on time completions. - Coordinates the fabrication, heat treat, and material process requirements in accordance with FAA and OEM directives. - Performs other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • []{#_Hlk15452178}Associates degree in related field preferred.
  • Minimum of one (1) year working experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

PHYSICAL EFFORT AND DEXTERITY:

Compensation

The full base pay range for this position is $23.00 -- $35.00 per hour, exclusive of benefits or potential bonuses. The lower end of the range represents the target base pay for those beginning or developing in the role. The higher end of the range is intended for those who have mastered the role, with proven significant expertise, high achievement, and specialized skills. If you are hired at ATS, your hourly rate will be based on factors including skills, education and experience. In addition to those factors -- we consider internal equity of our current employees when determining offers. This position is eligible for an annual bonus. We also offer a generous benefits package, as detailed below.
