Hiring Immediately for Prep Cooks at a local client. Weekly pay starting at $19.00-$21.00 per hour, openings on multiple shifts. Apply now and schedule an immediate interview!

  • 1-3 months related experience and/or training

  • Previous work experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the food industry

  • Ability to communicate effectively with team members and internal/external customers

  • Ability to learn system logic and operate HMI/control panels and fine tune equipment for minor and major adjustments

  • Self-directed, able to keep oneself busy and flow to the work

  • Must be available to work overtime and weekends

  • Ability to stand, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs. Frequently

  • High attention to detail

  • Must be able to work in an environment frequently exposed to loud, wet, and cold conditions

  • Ensure recipe integrity through verification of material item numbers and expiration dates prior to processing

  • Clean, assemble, operate and troubleshoot machinery respective to each functional area within ingredient preparation

  • Inspect ingredients and ingredients packaging for conformance to safety and quality specifications

  • Maintain documentation that demonstrates regulatory compliance for all policies pertaining to HACCP, USDA and FDA mandates

  • Coordinate ingredient supply from storage to their assigned production area

  • Perform/responsible to adhere to all required quality/ food safety checks including data sheets including all controlled documents

  • Ensure compliance with all food safety, quality standards and good manufacturing practices including allergen handling and organic segregation

  • Perform tasks to support other departments when directed

  • Follow all established safety protocols

  • Perform all other duties as assigned

Pay Details: $19.00 to $21.00 per hour
