Optum Patient Services Representative II, Founders Call Pod Department - Everett, WA in Everett, Washington
The Founders Call Pod department is seeking a Full Time Patient Services Representative II to join their team full time to work in Everett, WA . Hybrid remote option available after 3-6 months of working on-site. Must be local to the area.
Schedule: 40 hours per week - Monday - Friday. Hours are TBD.
$2,000 sign on bonus available!

The Patient Services Representative functions as an integral member of the team to deliver exceptional customer service to our patients. The Patient Services Representative works alongside the clinical staff to ensure efficient patient service within the department.
The Patient Services Representative is responsible for and not limited to:
First point of contact for our patients. Sets the tone for a positive experience.
Exhibits empathy, courtesy, competence, efficiency and care.
Schedules appointments and procedures, following standard guidelines.
Uses Multiple computer and phone systems to fulfill patient needs over phone.
Verifies patient information, while documenting in their Electronic Health Record (EPIC).
Advises patients of their responsibilities regarding insurance and referral information.
Preferred Experience and Credentials:
Experience: one-year work experience preferred, preferably in a medical office setting. UCB/ACD Desktop phone system experience preferred. Word processing, computer, photocopy and fax machine experience. A basic knowledge of medical terminology strongly preferred. Strong customer service skills required.
Education: High School Diploma (preferred) or equivalent experience.
