PDS Tech is looking for Numerical Control Programmer 3 - Shape the Future of Aerospace Manufacturing as a Numerical Control Programmer in Everett, WA — Drive innovation and precision in our Composite Wing Center.

Job Title: Numerical Control Programmer 3

Type: Full-Time, 6-Month Consultant

Location: Everett, WA 98204

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM

Pay Rate: $51.80 - $ 58.13/hour

Role Overview:

Join our team as a Numerical Control Programmer and play a pivotal role in advancing our manufacturing capabilities. Your expertise will be instrumental in developing Machine Control Data (MCD), ensuring our equipment operates flawlessly to produce and inspect high-quality parts, tools, and assemblies. Your work will directly impact the efficiency and innovation of manufacturing processes in our 777 Composite Wing Center, focusing on the pre-cure/green part space.

What You Will Do:

  • Develop, verify, and update MCD for a range of numerically controlled equipment, including Optical Layup Templates and Ultrasonic Knife Cutting systems.

  • Innovate and integrate new machining techniques and manufacturing methods.

  • Create clear operator instructions for automated and numerical control equipment like AFPs and ATLMs.

  • Work collaboratively to enhance manufacturing processes and product quality.

Must-Have Skills:

  • Proven experience in Composite Fabrication and Techniques.

  • Proficiency in NC traditional CAD/CAM Systems.

  • Expertise in handling Trim, Drill, AFP, and ATLM Equipment.

  • Knowledge in Composite Tooling, including mandrels and fixtures.

  • Skilled in identifying defects, conducting root cause analysis, and implementing corrective actions.

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Pre-Cure Composites Manufacturing:

  2. Mastery of CATIA V5, NS2/nesting, Optical Laser Template (OLT), Ultrasonic Knife (USK), Automated Fiber Placement (AFP), and Composite Tape Laying Machines (CTLM).

  3. Post-Cure Composites Manufacturing:

  4. Expertise in CATIA V5, Vericut, Advanced Machining Workbench, plus trim and drill of composite parts, and axis milling/machining.

Pay Details: $51.80 to $58.13 per hour
