Our teams are currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including; Mid – Level or Senior Fuel System Electrostatics Engineers

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location.

Position Responsibilities:

Mid - Level:

  • Develops and validates requirements for electrostatic protective features, including subsystems, mechanical subsystems, interconnects and structures

  • Electrostatics program planning, authoring electrostatics support documentation, continuous program electrostatics oversight and visibility, and product manufacturing support.

  • Performs research and development activities supporting advanced programs

  • Oversees supplier electromagnetic testing for compliance with procedures and standards

  • Manages assignments within allocated budgets, on schedule, and with high quality results

  • Identification, analysis, requirements allocation, coordination, application, and verification of electrostatics design requirements to ensure compliance with system performance requirements.

  • Develops architectures to integrate systems and components into higher level systems and platforms

  • Performs trade studies, modeling, simulation and other forms of analysis to predict component, interconnects and system performance and to optimize design around established requirements

  • Defines and conducts tests to validate performance of designs to requirements

  • Manages appropriate aspects of supplier and partner performance to ensure compliance to requirements

  • Provides support to products throughout their life cycle by developing root-cause analysis of anomalies and other engineering support as requested

  • Supports project management by providing work statement, budget, schedule and other required inputs and by reporting project status

  • Writes appropriate sections of proposals to support development of new business

  • Works under general mentorship

  • Shows and/or finds compliance to fuel tank ignition prevention requirements for electrostatics aspects of large transport aircraft category airworthiness regulations.

The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Possess a Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics or other technical degree

  • 6 months or more of experience handling Electrostatic Discharge Sensitive (ESDS) hardware or overseeing its related processes

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Experience with written and verbal communication and leading projects, along with the ability to make decisions and deliver results

  • Experience working within an engineering organization

  • Experience with electrostatic testing and analysis

  • Experience with regulatory engagement

  • Prior delegated regulatory experience

  • Experience with petroleum industry electrostatics safety assessments

  • Willing to Travel Domestically and internationally as needed.

  • Engineering experience with electrostatics.

  • 3 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

  • 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

Typical Education/Experience:

Mid – Level (Level 3):

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD, Master+3 years' related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

Senior (Level 4):

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 9 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD+4 years' related work experience, Master+7 years' related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

Senior (Level 5):

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 14 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent

combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD+9 years' related work experience, Master+12 years' related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range Mid – Level (Level 3): $100,300 - $135,700.

Summary pay range Senior (Level 4): $121,550 - $164,450.

Summary pay range Senior (Level 5): $147,900 - $200,100.
