The Boeing Commercial Airplanes Stability and Performance teams are looking for Manufacturing Operations Analysts (Level 3 ) to support the team. This position supports Programs (737, 747/767, 777) i ncluding Fabrication and Delivery Centers. Work location will be determined based on program assignment (Everett, Auburn, and Renton; Washington)

The Stability and Performance teams play a critical role in leading the production system improvement activities for their programs. The team will leverage data to provide business insights, drive stability and ultimately achieve champion time performance on their programs. These teams work cross-functionally with operations and support organizations to solve problems ranging from factory floor process improvements to engineering design changes. An understanding of how an airplane is built, Lean manufacturing principles and the production system standards are critical for this role.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Conducts assessments of processes and practices for comparison to applicable standards and criteria.

  • Analyzes and interprets data.

  • Provides feedback on assessment results.

  • Works with organizations to develop strategies, plans and metrics to accomplish company initiatives using Lean methodologies or other applicable tools and processes.

  • Works at the appropriate level in the organization to implement strategies and plans.

  • Works under general direction.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Ability to work any shift as needed.

  • 3+ years of experience in operations analysis or operations research.

  • 3+ years of experience working in manufacturing environment.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • 3+ years of Lean experience.

Typical Education/Experience:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 6 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+4 years' related work experience, 10 years' related work experience, etc.).
