The Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) Engineering Functional Human Resources team has an exciting opportunity to join their HR team. This Mid-Level Human Resources Generalist will provide HR business partnership and provide strategic HR leadership to the BCA Engineering Functional Leadership organization. This position can be located in Everett, WA or Renton, WA.

This position requires knowledge and experience as a Human Resources Generalist who demonstrates the ability to create and deploy integrated HR initiatives. Our teammate will also share business and functional priorities to support the HR Communities of Excellence (CoE) strategy and Enterprise Functional Engineering. By partnering with executives, managers, and employees, you will have a critical role in driving business value, a best-in-class employee experience and effective delivery of HR programs and services.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a member of the BCA Engineering Functions Leadership Team as a credible HR knowledge partner, consultant and advisor.

  • Build and sustain trusted relationships with leadership across the Business, Function and HR.

  • Supports activities such as “Best Team & Talent Reviews”, long-range business plans, high-level skill/talent discussions, development programs, resource deployment, etc., including succession planning and regional talent development.

  • Partner with the CoEs and local HR teams to ensure understanding and alignment of talent strategy and to ensure planning, execution and realization are achieved through solutions, programs and policies.

  • Collaborate with HR peers – both in the businesses and functions – to support the delivery of key HR processes such as performance enablement, employee movement, leadership coaching, etc.

  • Partner with peers and business as an advisor and change agent in the rollout of HR policies, processes or programs such as performance optimization, salary review, etc.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 3+ years of experience working with employees as an HR Generalist

  • Experience analyzing data and metrics to identify future organization needs

  • Experience building cross-functional relationships; experience connecting with and advising senior leaders within the business and thoughtfully challenging leadership when necessary

  • Experience partnering and strategizing HR initiatives with senior leaders

  • Experience in deploying and administering HR programs, policies, practices and processes

  • Experience managing projects

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • HR certifications SHRM, PHR, or SPHR

  • Experience collecting, organizing, synthesizing, and analyzing data for cross-functional teams

  • Experience developing and driving diversity strategies with leadership teams

  • Experience driving creative strategies

  • Experience and passion around embodying the One Boeing Approach to decision making for business partners

  • Comprehensive understanding of business priorities and be able to translate them into action plans that drive business results.

  • Capability to develop solutions to complex problems and consistently approach assignments with flexibility, creativity and a positive attitude

Typical Education/Experience:

Typically 6 or more years’ related work experience or relevant military experience. Advanced degree (e.g. Bachelor, Master, etc.) preferred, but not required.

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range: $87,550 - $118,450
