Mental Health Therapist II, III or Licensed - Posting #26214

Hourly Range: $27.84 - $31.32 (Mental Health Therapist II or III)

Annual Salary: $71,384.77 (Licensed Mental Health Therapist)

Position Summary:

Sea Mar Behavioral Health’s diverse and quickly expanding program is seeking a full-time therapist for its Everett Behavioral Health Child and Family Services program. The Mental Health Therapist (MHT) provides individual and group counseling, case management, crisis stabilization, suicide risk assessment, and treatment planning. In addition, he or she will provide referrals and coordination with medication providers, primary care physicians, and with other community agencies.

Our therapists must have the ability to accurately diagnose mental health issues and develop treatment plans based upon diagnoses. We are a growing team with wide-ranging experience, educational backgrounds and degrees. We work closely with our medical providers to establish a whole “health home” for our clients. This makes for a rich clinical environment that is supportive and invigorating. Our organization is dedicated to providing qualified mental health services, and we are looking for passionate professionals who want to make a difference in the lives of individuals in need.

We are a qualified site for both federal (FHP) and State (SHP) Health Corps loan repayment programs.

Requirements:

  • Master’s degree in psychology, counseling or social services field that includes psychological diagnostics

  • Meet Mental Health Professional (MHP) requirements as per Washington Administrative Code (WAC)

  • Obtain Basic Life Suport (BLS) CPR Certification within 90 days of hire and maintain current BLSCPR throughout employment

  • Must have received the COVID-19 vaccine, booster shots and maintain current with TB tests

  • Bilingual proficiency in Spanish/English preferred for all levels

    Responsibilities for all Levels II, III, and Licensed:

  • Conduct diagnostic assessments and provide individual counseling

  • Offer crisis stabilization and suicide risk assessments and develop treatment plans

  • Lead therapy groups and make referrals for psychiatric services

  • Provide case management in coordination with the treatment team

  • Assist the Program Manger in program and policy development

  • Ensure compliance with WACs, RCWs and other administrative tasks as directed

    Mental Health Therapist II

  • Up to 3 years of experience in the field

  • Perform all responsibilities outlined above

Mental Health Therapist III

  • 4 or more year of experience in the field

  • Perform all responsibilities outlined above

Licensed:

  • Possess a current/active Washington State LMHC, LMFT or LICSW license

  • Maintain current license throughout the duration of employment. Responsible for individual continuing education hours and licensing fees

  • Provide clinical supervision to other clinicians pursuing licensing requirements

  • Assist in conducting chart reviews and ensuring compliance with clinical contracts.
