[]{#_Hlk15270516}*SUMMARY: *Under direct supervision, the Hangar Operations Support Technician is an integral part in ensuring the smooth and efficient functioning of aircraft maintenance operations within the hangar. This position provides essential support to maintenance personnel, ensures the efficiency and cleanliness of the hangar, and contributes to maintaining an overall safe work environment.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Caters and de-caters aircraft.
  • Moves LAVs and GALLEYs to and from Back-Shop areas.
  • Removes, loads, and transports aircraft seats.
  • Transfers life vests from old seats to new seats.
  • May assist with aircraft cleaning.
  • Gathers any items needed from other locations and pick-up areas.
  • Locates ladders, carts, tools, and any items needed at the request of the mechanic.
  • Moves off units to temporary staging areas.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • []{#_Hlk15271830}High School diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred.
  • General Labor experience highly preferred.
  • Experience in Aviation or MRO preferred.

PHYSICAL EFFORT AND DEXTERITY:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be required to sit, stand, and walk; use their hands and arms; and talk or hear; and focus on objects close up.  []{#_Hlk15452254}The employee may be required to stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee may also be required to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds using proper lifting protocols.

Compensation

The full base pay range for this position is $18.00 -- $23.00 per hour, exclusive of benefits or potential bonuses. The lower end of the range represents the target base pay for those beginning or developing in the role. The higher end of the range is intended for those who have mastered the role, with proven significant expertise, high achievement, and specialized skills. If you are hired at ATS, your salary or hourly rate will be based on factors including skills, education and experience. In addition to those factors -- we consider internal equity of our current employees when determining offers. This position is eligible for an annual bonus. We also offer a generous benefits package, as detailed below.
