Avionics Displays Design Engineer.
Design and specify Avionics Flight Deck Displays System solutions on 737NG, 737MAX, 747, 767 and 777 model aircraft. Provide technical, design and information support for complex production, product support or in-service issues. Develops, decomposes, manages, controls, documents and tracks a wide-range of complex electronic/electrical system/subsystem requirements using approved processes and tools to ensure that the desired product can be reliably produced, with attention to quality, performance, reliability, maintainability, supportability, testability, cost, schedule, compliance and risk.

Degree and typical experience in engineering classification: Bachelor's and 5 or more years' experience, Master's degree with 3 or more years' experience or PhD degree with experience. Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry. ABET is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
Desire Simulink/Matlab experience, Flight Deck Displays, good teamwork and communication skills, broad knowledge of Avionics systems, self starter, minimal oversight required.
Applicant should be team player willing and motivated to learn other aircraft systems relative to their Displays interface requirements, and communicate these requirements to a supplier.
BS degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or Aerospace Engineering.
5 or more years of experience with design of Avionics is required.
5 or more years of experience working with Avionics suppliers is required.
This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
