Summary You will serve as a FINANCIAL TECHNICIAN in the FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT (N8) of NAVRESREDCOM NORTHWEST. Responsibilities You will verify , maintain , reconcile accounts, accounting data and prepare analyze reports. You will answer requests and provide advice to employees, supervisors, staff in other financial management series and personnel specialists on pay related rules, regulations, and procedures. You will perform work to establish, maintain, correct and close pay accounts for active, reserve, or retired armed forces personnel and their annuitants. You will perform technician work in support of budget analysis and administration such as maintain ledgers, budget formulation, compiling, consolidating, checking and arranging funding data. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications GS-07 Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-06) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience in use of Standard Accounting, Budgeting, and Reporting System (SABRS), Command Financial Management System (CFMS), Budget Builder, Reserve Personnel Navy (RPN), Defense Travel System (DTS) and Government Travel Credit Card (GTCC). Experience examining, verifying, maintaining and reconciling accounts and accounting data, prepare and analyze reports. Experience and Knowledge of accounting systems, standard accounting codes, classifications and terminology and the ability to apply various accounting methods and techniques. Experience and Knowledge of accounting, budget or other financial management regulations, practices, procedures, and policies related to specific financial management functions. Keyboarding is required. GS-06 Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-05) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience utilizing and maintaining accounting systems, standard accounting codes, classifications and terminology and the ability to apply various accounting methods and techniques. Experience on accounting, budget or other financial management regulations, practices, procedures, and policies related to specific financial management functions. Keyboarding is required.
