Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is currently seeking an Experienced Contracts Procurement Agent (Level 3) for our team based in Everett, Washington to support BCA Supply Chain financially distressed suppliers. The individual will be assigned a specific commodity within BCA and will be responsible for collaboration across the enterprise for those suppliers. This role will report directly to the Senior Manager of the BCA Supplier Financial Risk Management (SFRM).

The team works in a highly dynamic, fast-paced, non-standard procurement world with leadership visibility. We are looking for individuals that thrive in collaboration and leading activities independently. The individual on the team own specific supplier cases and are expected to lead cross-organizationally and proactively handle each case with little direction from management.

The role requires strong partnerships with the enterprise Supplier Financial Risk Management group, Enterprise Credit Risk, Procurement Finance, and category core operations, contracts, finance and category management teams to understand the issues affecting distressed suppliers, navigate through unique supplier situations, and develop and implement robust risk mitigation plans. Some travel, domestic and/or international, will be required for this position.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Integrates program, customer, product and in-service strategies into source selection, negotiation and contracting strategies.

  • Negotiates pricing and contract terms and conditions.

  • Prepares and executes negotiated contractual documents and binding agreements.

  • Conducts risk, issues and opportunities management.

  • Manages supply and demand, schedules, supplier quality, delivery and financial performance.

  • Initiates and drives supplier improvement activities and integrates results into contracting strategies.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 2+ years of experience in Supply Chain

  • Must be willing to travel domestically and internationally as needed

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • 2+ years of experience creating and developing strategy plans

  • 2+ years of experience with Supply Chain Contracts, Operations, or Finance, or a combination thereof

  • 1+ years of experience in Project Management

Typical Education/ Experience:

Typically, 6 or more years' related work experience or military experience. Advanced degree (e.g. Bachelor, Master, etc.) preferred, but not required.

Summary pay range: $79,900-$108,100
