Job Description

The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately and efficiently filling prescription requests in a high-volume automated refill setting. Under the supervision of a Pharmacist, the Pharmacy Technician will prepare, package, and distribute medications within a fast-paced production environment. The role requires maintaining a continuous, consistent workflow to meet daily production goals and the ability to work productively either independently or as a team. A high level of focus is necessary to avoid cross-contamination and perform quality assurance checks for expired and/or damaged products.

Pharmacy Technician:

• Fill prescriptions accurately and efficiently.

• Compound medications, including ointments and specialized formulations.

• Verify prescription details and dosages by communicating with healthcare providers.

• Label prescriptions with accurate information and instructions.

• Assist in managing inventory and ensuring compliance with pharmacy regulations

Requirements:

• Certification as a Pharmacy Technician preferred.

• Previous experience in a pharmacy setting preferred.

• Knowledge of pharmacy operations and medication handling

Work Environment

This position is based in a Central Fill pharmacy located in Everett, WA, supporting a large retail national chain. The role involves working in a fast-paced

production environment without patient interaction, phone answering, or dealing with insurance companies.
