The Regulatory Administration & Airworthiness team is seeking multiple Enterprise Certification Tool Analyst (Mid-Level, Subject Matter Expert or Senior) to join our team in Everett, Washington .

The mission of the Regulatory Administration & Airworthiness Enterprise Certification Tools (ECT) team is to develop, implement, and manage software and Model Based Engineering (MBE) solutions ensuring compliance and safety of all of Boeing’s products. Our team of experienced engineers and analysts use expertise in systems thinking and problem solving to navigate the regulatory system and own software/MBE solutions. This team is responsible for certification software solutions across our One Boeing (Commercial, Defense and Global Services). Team members take on a wide variety of software/MBE development aspects performing numerous roles throughout the lifecycle. They learn the environment becoming experts in their software/MBE solutions and solve technical issues with the user base.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Identifying, prioritize, and managing tool enhancement projects to meet regulatory and customer needs

  • Knowledgeable in the business and solution context, contributes to Product Vision and Product Roadmap, manages the backlog

  • Manage business requirements for translations to functional specifications and works with Boeing IT to translate into technical requirements

  • Defines testing approach and scripts, ensures product testing is completed and documents results.

  • Generally, collaborate with Boeing IT to develop solutions for digital tool enhancements projects

  • Applies an interdisciplinary, collaborative approach to plan, design, develop and verify complex lifecycle balanced system of systems and system solutions

  • Develops, maintains and identifies improvements for the planning, organization, implementation and monitoring of requirements and/or certification management processes, tools, risk, issues, opportunity management and technology readiness

  • Strong decision making to resolve cross-functional technical issues in a mutually constructive manner

  • Proven project management experience, well organized, and detailed oriented

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location.

This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor degree or higher

  • 3+ years of experience working software development lifecycles

  • 3+ years of experience in managing projects, tasks, or other critical activities

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • 5+ years related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

  • 10+ years related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

  • Experience working with FAA, foreign regulatory agencies, or Regulatory Administration

  • Experience with the concepts of Model Based Engineering, Digital Thread, and Digital System Modeling

  • Experience with software development methodologies and project management

Typical Education & Experience:

Level 3 (Mid-Level)

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD, Master+3 years' related work experience, 9 years' related work experience, etc.).

Level 4 (Subject Matter Expert)

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 9 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD+4 years' related work experience, Master+7 years' related work experience, 13 years' related work experience, etc.).

Level 5 (Senior)

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 14 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD+9 years' related work experience, Master+12 years' related work experience, 18 years' related work experience, etc.).

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range Level 3 Mid-Level: $98,600.00 - $133,400.00

Summary pay range Level 4 Subject Matter Expert: $121,550.00 - $164,450.00

Summary pay range Level 5 Senior: $145,350.00 - $196,650.00
