Fortive Corporation Development & Learning Program Manager (All Employee) in Everett, Washington

Fortive is seeking an experienced E-Learning expert to support our commitment to cultivating leadership excellence and fostering a culture of continuous learning. This critical role will analyze, design, develop, implement, and evaluate our all-employee development and training at Fortive. This work will be part of a unified talent strategy that propels our leaders and workforce towards innovation, inclusivity, and performance.

  • Develop and execute Fortive’s E-Learning development strategy for all employees. and leverage latest practices in AI technology to advance learning.

  • Analyze, design, develop, implement, and evaluate digital-based learning, performance, and blended instruction for specific content areas.

  • Evaluate and analyze the effectiveness of our e-learning learning programs for all employees, utilizing data driven insights for continuous improvement and innovation.

  • Design and develop e-learning experiences, while catering to diverse styles and needs.

  • Ensure high-impact delivery of e-learning, developmental experiences, programs, and initiatives.

  • Partner with HR Technology team to ensure state-of-the-art learning technologies to enable our learning strategy.

  • Serve as a trusted advisor and expert all things e-learning and digital intended for all employees.

  • Collaborate with business leaders, HR Centers of Excellence (COE’s), and the Fortive Business System Office to identify and address current and future learning needs, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.

  • Leverage the latest technologies, including AI to enhance learning experiences.

  • Consult with leadership and outside experts to formulate program scope and technical support necessary to support e-learning.

  • Establishes operational policies/procedures and standard work for e-learning programs and initiatives for all employees. Partners with Fortive Business System Office.

  • Reviews program progress to ensure that objectives are met; share analytic reports for comprehensive evaluation.

  • Administer, forecast, manage the annual budget for leadership initiatives.

  • Remain current with developments in leadership and learning advancements to share with colleagues and continuously improve.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Experience working with several learning Management systems (LMS).

  • Experience designing and developing digital learning for technical functions.

  • Knowledgeable in digital and e-learning practice and learning theory related to adult learning and development that have been established and tested by industry research.

  • Experience and practical insight on how to maximize scaling to the all-employee enterprise in an efficient and organized manner.

  • Metrics focused; understands the objective, quantitative and qualitative processes commonly used in the industry to evaluate learning objectives.

  • Needs to be a thought leader, a strategic thinker and a subject matter expert with e-learning.

  • Background in learning and development and human resources

  • 8+ years of experience in HR, focusing on L&D enabling functions.

  • 5+ years of experience in e-learning and digital delivery.

  • Proven track record in designing and delivering innovative and impactful e-learning experiences and solutions.

  • Strong knowledge of adult learning principles, instructional design methodologies, and evaluation techniques.

  • Bias for integrating diversity, equity, and inclusion into all learning moments.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Training certifications in early career leader e-learning courses (Eg: Situational Self Leadership, Crucial Conversations, etc.)

  • Demonstrated influence and problem-solving skills.

  • Experience and specific knowledge of employee engagement, learning and performance management.

  • Proven project management and execution skills, with a track record of influencing through data-driven recommendations.

  • Proven ability to operate with autonomy and discretion and use sound judgment in all situations.

  • Exceptional ability to influence and partner with leaders across different functions and locations.

  • Experience working in global team environment with multiple time zones.

  • Willingness to travel 20%

This position is also eligible for bonus as part of the total compensation package.

The salary range for this position (in local currency) is 67,700.00 - 125,900.00. Base pay offered may vary depending on various factors, including, but not limited to: job-related knowledge; skills; experience; and other eligibility factors such as geographic location. The Total Rewards package includes competitive base pay and an opportunity to enroll in a variety of benefit programs, generally including health insurance, flexible spending accounts, health savings accounts, retirement savings plans, life and disability insurance programs, and several programs that provide for both paid and unpaid time away from work.
