Job Purpose:Supports employee development by identifying and fulfilling educational requirements.Duties: * Determines organization job educational program requirements by interviewing managers; examining job performance indicators. * Determines individual job educational program requirements by interviewing and testing employees; examining job performance indicators. * Establishes organization career-preparation, personal improvement, and job succession programs by studying management planning information; interviewing managers; developing curricula; recommending programs. * Establishes individual career-preparation and personal improvement programs by interviewing and testing employees; exploring options; recommending curricula. * Pays educational bills by receiving and approving invoices; forwarding invoices for payment. * Obtains return on investment by tracking and monitoring educational and job progress; interviewing managers and employees; recommending improved learning approaches. * Develops educational opportunities by identifying and contacting educational institutions and individual instructors; obtaining course and training session offerings; locating internet and teleconferencing courses and programs; recommending in-house training programs. * Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations. * Accomplishes human resources and organization mission by completing related results as needed.Skills/Qualifications:Performance Management, Client Relationships, Motivating Others, Coaching, Objectivity, Business Knowledge, Self-Development, Listening, Training Management, Training , Customer Focus
