Job Title: Delivery Driver

Job Description

Perform job site deliveries and pickups at new home construction sites throughout an assigned region. Deliver the product in an organized manner, provide a great customer experience, and appropriately explain the delivery circumstances to the customer with a positive attitude. Perform job site deliveries by unloading material, stacking material in an organized manner, properly noting delivery paperwork, and documenting all work performed. Responsible for driving to locations as directed by pre-set scheduling according to territory assigned. Select necessary & accurate product from truck to deliver on jobsite, using pick sheet. Responsible for material pickups and adhering to all facets of safety policies and procedures. Several hours will be spent driving a delivery truck.

Responsibilities

• Select necessary & accurate products from truck to deliver on jobsite using pick sheet

• Responsible for material pickups

• Adhere to all safety policies and procedures

• Spend several hours driving a delivery truck

Essential Skills

• CDL Class B

• 2+ years of experience in delivery driving, preferably using a box truck

• Experience delivering heavy materials

• Experience in a customer-facing/customer service role

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Demonstrate positive attitude and exceptional customer service skills

• CDL not required

Work Environment

Driving a 25-foot box truck, unloading doors and mouldings to client sites. The role involves 90% driving and 10% unloading. The working environment is a warehouse production setting, manufacturing doors and mouldings. Driving routes can extend as far north as the Canadian border and as far east as Orondo. You may be exposed to sawdust or other wood products and will be required to lift heavy materials regularly, such as large doors and large bundles of mouldings, consistently throughout the shift, up to 100 pounds. The shift is from 6 am to 4:30 pm, but could go later if still in transit. You will have your own truck to use, not shared with other drivers, and could also have a driver helper to assist on delivery but this is not guaranteed.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $48000.00 - $56000.00/yr.
