Position Overview:We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Level 1 Field Service Technician to join our dynamic team in Everett, WA. As a Level 1 Field Service Technician at Cennox, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and servicing a range of banking equipment, including ATMs, Smart Safes, Kiosks, and Conventional Banking Equipment. Your role will be crucial in ensuring the reliability and functionality of these machines, contributing to the seamless operations of our clients' financial services.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on ATMs, Smart Safes, Kiosks, and Conventional Banking Equipment (CBE).  CBE includes Vat tube systems, SD boxes and locks, Safes, Electronic Locks, Deal Drawers, After Hour Depository’s, Day Gates, undercounter, and much more.  Service additional equipment as needed.

  • Conduct preventive maintenance tasks to minimize equipment downtime and maximize reliability.

  • Respond promptly to service requests, both scheduled and unscheduled, to address technical issues and ensure minimal disruption to clients' operations.

  • Troubleshoot hardware and software problems to identify root causes and implement effective solutions.

  • Document all service activities, including repairs performed, parts used, and time spent, in accordance with company standards and protocols.

  • Collaborate with fellow technicians, senior technicians, and technical support teams to share knowledge and insights for complex problem resolution.

  • Keep abreast of industry trends, technology updates, and equipment changes to continuously enhance your technical expertise.

  • Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor when interacting with clients and fellow team members.

  • Adhere to company safety policies and procedures while working in various environments, including banking branches and off-site locations.

  • Comfortably work at heights on a ladder to service equipment located in elevated positions.

    Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or vocational training in electronics, mechanics, or a related field is preferred.

  • Prior experience in field service, electronics repair, or technical support is advantageous.

  • Basic understanding of electronics, mechanics, and computer systems.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and a methodical approach to troubleshooting.

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • Ability to work independently and effectively manage time and tasks.

  • A valid driver's license and reliable transportation to travel to client locations as required.

  • Flexibility to work on-call and off-hours when necessary.

  • Comfortable working at heights on a ladder to access and service elevated equipment.
