Job Description Overview CORT Party Rental is hiring for an Administrative Specialist! The Administrative Specialist plays a pivotal role in the finance department regarding accounts receivable, aging reports, preparation of bank deposits and facilitating effective customer communication. Pay: $26-$28 / hour depending on experience. Schedule: Schedule is a Monday-Friday 40 hour work week with occasional Saturdays depending on business needs. This is an in office position. Generate and analyze aging reports to identify overdue accounts, assess financial risk, and initiate follow-up actions to facilitate prompt collections. Prepare and process bank deposits, accurately recording financial transactions and ensuring funds are correctly allocated and secured. Provide comprehensive support to the Administrative Manager, assisting with financial analysis, budget preparation, expense reports, and other ad hoc tasks as required to support department objectives. Maintain meticulous financial records and documentation to support audit processes and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations. Work closely with other departments to resolve billing discrepancies, improve financial processes, and enhance overall organizational efficiency. Work with software systems (Peoplesoft, Basware, Point of Rental, Microsoft Office Suite, etc.) to compile reports, analyze data and prepare financials. Ensure adequate levels of office supplies and that all equipment is working and properly maintained. Build and expand on skills by engaging in educational opportunities. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or related field preferred. Experience in similar role, particularly accounts receivable, customer service and finanicial reporting. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
