Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is seeking 777/777X Engineering Change Coordinators (Engineer) to support our dynamic and diverse Engineering Change Control (ECC) team based in Everett, WA.

Engineering Change Control is responsible for enabling effective and efficient incorporation of authorized engineering changes into the production system or retrofit market by developing, integrating, publishing, and maintaining the Engineering statement of work. You will lead cross functional teams across Design and Manufacturing Engineering, Finance, Business Operations, Factory, and Field to support the commitment of engineering change required for airplane delivery. The role can have a high level of visibility to leadership and large impact on the program’s success due to the complexity or timeline of the changes. Successful candidates will be organized, flexible, and able to work through difficult timelines to accomplish a goal.

Our team is hiring a broad range of experience levels, including Associate, Experienced, and Senior Level Engineering Change Coordinators for Master Change, Production Revision Record, and Rapid Revision Functions.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options. Everett, WA.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Collaborates with teams in the development, analysis, and management and compliance verification of process and product baselines of complex products.

  • Defines, plans, coordinates and conducts product and subsystem level technical design reviews and audits for new and derivative products.

  • Analyzes complex product trades and/or changes and develops technically complete change proposals.

  • Contributes to the development and implementation of Configuration and Data Management standards, processes and tools.

  • Defines and allocates Configuration and Data Management requirements for product hardware, software and engineering design data systems throughout the product lifecycle.

  • Coordinates the integration of product elements and analyzes & resolves issues with engineering product structure.

  • Develops, integrates and implements engineering technical program plans including impacts, risks and incorporation of lessons learned spanning multiple engineering functions.

  • Works under general direction

This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in an Engineering discipline.

  • 2+ years of engineering experience.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience)

  • 3+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • 5+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Experience in Microsoft Office Suite (Including MS Project).

  • Experience in Adobe, ECAS, and IBEX.

Typical Education/Experience:

Associate (Level-2): Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 2 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. Master). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

Mid-Level (Level-3): Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD, Master+3 years' related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

Experienced (Level-4): Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 9 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD+4 years' related work experience, Master+7 years' related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary Pay Range for Associate Level 2: $79,050 - $106,950

Summary Pay Range for Mid-Level Level 3 : $96,050 – $129,950

Summary Pay Range for Experienced Level 4: $120,700 – $163,300
