Region Finance Manager, Fiscal Analyst 4 (FA4) Location: South Puget Sound Region- Enumclaw, WA *Salary: $5,108.00 - $6,866.00 Monthly *

Responsibilities: The Region Finance Manager is responsible for all aspects of the region's fiscal functions including but not limited to internal budget tracking, prompt and accurate payroll, employee reimbursements, vendor payments, fire business, credit card management and administrator, purchasing, inventory, cost recovery, cash deposit and cash application.

  • Provide budget recommendations, guidance, and training to Region Management in the agency budget process.  Responsible for developing and analyzing the region fiscal year and/or biennial region dollar budget spending plans with Region Management for all region programs.
  • Train, develop, and supervise five (5) professional level Financial Analysts, including two Fire Finance Analysts using GAAP and accounting systems.
  • Provide guidance & clarification on financial policies, procedures & processes to all levels of Region Management, including Region Fire Management and staff.
  • Analyze complex financial and statistical data and complex financial reports. Ensures proper accounting techniques and controls are used.
  • Use independent judgment, prepare Fiscal Year/Biennium close adjustments, and accrual decisions for all region programs.

*Required Qualifications: *

  • Four years of professional fiscal/accounting experience OR an equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
  • Experience with Governmental accounting.
  • Lead or supervisory experience.
  • Experience using Adobe Pro, Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel in a professional setting.
  • Experience extracting/generating reports from multiple financial reporting systems in multiple formats (Excel, CSV, PDF); Preparing financial reports & statements.
  • Completion of 15 credits in college-level accounting, auditing, or budgeting; OR the ability to obtain within 12 months of hire.
