Express Employment Professionals Patient Access Specialist in Elma, Washington
Patient Access Specialists needed for local healthcare facility. The Patient Access Specialist is responsible for performing routine daily patient registration, including collecting pertinent information from patients, scheduling patients for their visit, checking them in/out for all appointments. Our team thrives on multitasking while staying focused and detailed-oriented. We are the front line to all patients and/or visitors, and greet them in a friendly manner. Job Specific Duties: 1. Schedule and register patients into applicable software system(s) while ensuing the integrity and accuracy of data collected, including patient identification, insurance and benefit verification. 2. Verify acquisition of referrals and pre-authorizations for applicable services. 3. Conducts registration interview with patient prior to initial visit. 4. Perform point of service collections for patient financial responsibility, not limited to but including, co-payments, co-insurances and statement balances. Generating payment receipts, opening and closing of daily cash drawer. 5. Operate multi-line telephone system to receive, route and respond to incoming phone calls in a timely, professional manner. Relays necessary information to relevant staff members. 6. Respond to patient inquiries and requests and completes timely and accurate patient intake while ensuring the patient's comfort, dignity, safety, and confidentiality at all times. 7. Complete daily work assignments and perform general administrative tasks. 8. Accurately process incoming, outgoing, and inter-office mail. 9. Research and analyze alternatives for improving workflows. 10. Performs special projects and other related duties as assigned
2 that will work Clinical 7:30-4pm. M-F Their home base is Elma, but they will be sent to McCleary when they need coverage
1 for the 5am-3:30p Wed-Sat
1 for the 7:30-6pm and two week days would be included with their schedule. She said all would work a 40-hour work week.
2 for the 8am-6:30p + two weeks days
1 for the 10am-8:30p + two week days
