Learn more: Benefits, Perks, and Leave. The Role: The Program Assistant assists with the delivery of accommodated and standard exams, general office and program duties. All employees are expected to support CWU's commitment to diversity and to bring and support inclusion into the university environment. Job Duties Testing Program - Administer testing examinations - Ensure current testing requirements are followed as established by companies/testing organizations/certifications such as the Postal Service; irrigation; heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC); medical certifications including paramedics; Graduate Record Examination (GRE); placement exams; etc. - Follow specific requirements for checking in, instructions to individuals, digital signatures, pictures, etc. - Maintain electronic and manual files; compose and save correspondence; fax, scan, copy, create, revise, and save forms for office use; process duplicating requests; create, maintain and use Excel spreadsheets and Word documents - Responsible for providing excellent customer service to students, faculty, and the public by answering questions regarding the test center and internal processes - Verify candidate's identity and enrollment by using standard testing guidelines - Provide test instructions, distributes test materials, monitors candidates as they test, collects test materials - Follow established Testing Center guidelines, policies, and procedures - File tests, answer keys, and student answer sheets - Notify Director of testing security irregularities - Responsible for the security of test materials and maintain confidential material - Inventory testing material as it arrives or leaves office. Maintain appropriate level of supplies by notifying Director of supply requirements - Enter test scores into PeopleSoft - Communicate test scores to other university offices as needed Accommodated Testing - Verify student identity using
