Kittitas Interactive Managemen Life Enrichment, Training and Program Supervisor in Ellensburg, Washington

Summary

The primary role of the Life Enrichment Training & Program Supervisor (LE TPS) is to manage all aspects of client growth through coaching, goal-based support, as well as daily living support for KIM clients in accordance with the residential guidelines.  This role is also responsible for staff supervision, staff training, as well as coaching and developing new LEC's. KIM is looking for qualified candidates to fill a full-time Monday -- Friday 8AM-4PM shift.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Help clients with useful emotional and behavioral regulation techniques as outlines in their individual plans.
  • Help clients achieve their personal and program goals and evaluate the goals completions and denials.
  • Assist clients with daily hygiene as outlined in their individual care plan, including personal care, such as brushing teeth, bathing, hair washing, toileting, and more.
  • Assist client with money management such as petty cash, receipts, checkbook and EBT's.
  • Coordinate and accompany clients to health appointments and provide appropriate documentation for each appointment to Upper Management in a timely manner.
  • Monitor and re-order medications and PRN's.
  • Supervise the administration and documentation of all medications, including nurse delegated tasks.
  • Provide training and support to staff.
  • Complete daily, weekly, and monthly TPS checklists.
  • Monitor staff and training schedules and communicate with the Scheduling department regularly.
  • Provide peer coaching, ND development, and selected re-trainings for new and existing staff, complete proper documentation to the appropriate departments.
  • Perform weekly 1:1s with staff utilizing SMART goals.
  • Report promptly instances of injuries, behaviors, abuse, and safety hazards, etc. to management, following the Chain of Command.
  • Maintain an ongoing inventory of client's personal property, including PPE, groceries, assets and other household items that may need to be purchased or replaced.

     

Certificates, Licenses and Registrations

  • The Buzz on Adult Leaners Certificate (preferred)
  • Peer Coaching Training Certificate (preferred)
  • Current CPR / First Aid Certificate (preferred)
  • Current Bloodborne Pathogens Certificate (preferred)

     

Education and Experience

  • High school graduate or equivalent (required)
  • preferred to have at least one year experience in a supporting living setting, preferably individuals of developmental or otherwise disabled adults.
  • Experience as a supervisor

     

Skills and Qualifications

  • Minimum age of 18 years.
  • Outstanding verbal communication skills (required)
  • Criminal background check cleared before working alone unsupervised with the clients.
  • Valid driver's license or State ID.
  • Good collaboration and teamwork skills.
  • A keen attention to detail.
  • Having a strong understanding of human psychology.
  • Fast and adaptive problem-solving abilities
