The Director - National Channel is responsible for the strategic direction of the National Agent Partners culminating in year over year growth of this segment of the channel. The primary focus of this role is funnel expansion and new MRR closure via National Agent Partners. The Director - National Channel will also be responsible for cultivating, managing, growing each assigned relationship ensuring CCI prominence in day-to-day deal flow. A core component of this role will be building effective strategic relationships with the Principle leaders/executives with National Agent Partners and providing direction to internal regional channel teams in establishing and maintaining field level relationships ensuring a complete top down coverage between CCI channel staff and the National Agent Partners. Responsibilities Develop and execute Go To Market plans for each National Agent Partner, provide regular updates to executive management on status Drive consistent increased new MRR bookings through National Agent Partners to CCI Partner One National Channel. Identify and execute Alliance relationships (MSFT Technology Partner, etc) Establish and Maintain strategic business relationship with principle leaders and executives Large deal identification and closure on a consistent basis Lead and implement Strategic direction and Best Practices of all CCI Partner One local channels. Work closely with local market Sales Directors. Achieve assigned targets for profitable sales volume and strategic objectives in National Agent Partner accounts. Attend "National Agency" events and industry trade shows, as required Prepare Executive reporting on Partner One Channel performance including forecast, activities and issues in pursuit of company objectives Advise ongoing recommendations to SVP on strategic opportunities regarding all aspects of the channel regarding new growth opportunities Act as an Ambassador of the company by possessing a firm understanding of company goals and objectives and represent internally and externally. Perform all other duties as assigned Qualifications BA/BS and/or equivalent experience of 10+ successful years in a direct sales capacity with a track record of overachieving monthly, quarterly and annual targets Development and execution of a business plan Coordinate National Agent Partners to effectively drive increased MRR sales Ability to effectively to resolve issues and channel conflicts as they arise Ability to recruit new "National Agencies" Excellent organizational skills Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communications skills Strong computer skills valid driver's license and a satisfactory driving record Work Relationships: Work closely with Sales Directors, Partner One Sales Managers, Sr. Director of Sales Operations, Marketing and Product Management. Communicate with other departments regularly. Report to Senior Vice President of Carrier, Channel & Hyperscale.
