The Role: The Case Manager provides individualized support and assistance to students seeking to overcome obstacles related to their academic goals and/or personal health and well-being. The Case Manager conducts outreach to students experiencing distress and provides advocacy, referrals, and information on system-wide operations. The position serves as an advocate for student welfare and provides students with individualized referrals to appropriate resources. Job Duties Behavioral Intervention/Counseling/Case Management: - Conducts triage assessment of student need to determine appropriate interventions based on the urgency of the reported concerns - Provides one-on-one student assistance with resource navigation, short-term crisis support, advocacy, referrals, and information on system-wide operations. This may include resource coordination, problem-solving, and providing help to students impacted by traumatic, disruptive or disturbing life events - Serves on weekly Referral & Response rotation, initiating outreach to students identified as needing additional support, including students in significant distress - Coordinates follow-up assistance for students and provides short-term, non-clinical supportive counseling as needed in conjunction with the student\'s support system, healthcare provider(s), and/or other supports and resources - Refers students to community and private resources as appropriate based on each student\'s unique circumstances - Consults and maintains positive working relationships with campus and community resources to ensure quality referrals - Maintains full, accurate, and up-to-date case records - Provides daytime crisis resource coordination Administrative Consultation and Outreach: - Collaborates with colleagues in the
