The Role: The Department of Curriculum, Supervision, & Educational Leadership (CSEL) is seeking an Assistant Professor of Education Foundations and pedagogy, with a focus in Alternative Routes to Teacher Certification and Residency Programs. Primary responsibility includes teaching graduate courses within our Master of Arts in Teaching (MAT) degree program. Some undergraduate teacher preparation courses may also be assigned. This position could include the responsibility of coordinating the MAT program. Additional responsibilities include academic advising, scholarly activity (peer-reviewed publications, grant writing, conference presentations, etc.), program development and assessment, and professional service. Faculty will integrate CWU's commitment to diversity and create a learning environment that is welcoming, accessible and inclusive for all students.
