Description Medical Laboratory Technician - Swedish Cancer Institute - North Campus Edmonds SCHEDULE: PER DIEM. Day Shift, operating hours 7a-530p PST. 8-hour shift length. NO WEEKENDS, NO HOLIDAYS. Filling in for department gaps from PTO and Sick time. Performs assays accurately and timely on patient samples using a variety of automated and manual testing procedures to aid the physician in patient diagnosis and treatment. Follows established departmental policies and procedures, objectives, safety, environmental and infectious control standards so that the laboratory remains in compliance with accreditation and licensing agencies. Required Qualifications: Associate's Degree in Medical Laboratory Sciences or equivalent.
