Providence St. Joseph Health Injury Prevention and Ergonomics Analyst *Hybrid* in Edmonds, Washington
Description Injury Prevention and Ergonomics Analyst Hybrid , Travel between locations in the Everett and Edmonds area will be required. Under the direction of the IP&E Manager, the IP&E Analyst manages programs for injury prevention, reduction and promotion of health at a regional level. The position will provide project management to new and existing programs in cooperation with the IP&E Manager to decrease caregiver harm through engineering, administrative, and work practice controls. The position will collaborate with IP&E Managers, Supervisors, Coordinators, Caregiver Health, Workers' Compensation and Return to Work, and local leadership to provide efficient and cost effective inter and intra facility services and training for ergonomics, safe patient handling, and other injury reduction services. Required Qualifications: Certification in ergonomics or safe patient handling within 2 years of hire. 3 years Work experience related to ergonomics, injury prevention and safety or healthcare setting (i.e. RN, PT, OT, exercise physiologist). Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare related field (RN, OT, PT, ATC, industrial hygiene, Occupational Health and Safety, Kinesiology). Coursework/Training: Ergonomic related training (i.e. CPE, CEAS, CIE, CAE, CHSEP, Human Factors Engineering, & SPHM). Coursework/Training: Project Management related training (i.e. Lean, Continuous Improvement). Physical Therapist License (LPT) upon hire. Occupational Therapist License (OT) upon hire. Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) - American Heart Association upon hire. 2 years Work experience related to project management. 1 year Work experience related to caregiver injury prevention or workers' compensation. 1 year Acute health care experience Why Join Providence?
