Job Overview The Sr Advisor, Compensation partners with HR teams and leaders for assigned client groups to provide total compensation analytical and management support to ensure alignment with attraction & retention needs, market competitiveness objectives and cost-effectiveness. Provides consultative insight and strategic advising to HR and client groups on compensation-related matters. Also provides input into the development, design, implementation and administration of compensation programs and policies incorporating a line of sight to the client groups' business strategies and operations. Hybrid position based in Bellevue, WA or Overland Park, KS. Job Responsibilities: Partners with HR teams, as appropriate, to understand and support the assigned client groups' objectives by providing consulting, analytical support and compensation advice for their functional areas. Incorporates understanding of business unit strategies and priorities in order to consult on organizational design, new roles, career paths and compensation alignment including incentive compensation design where applicable. Operates as primary advisor and subject matter authority on compensation-related opportunities, including compensation philosophy, policies, programs and approaches, identifying client needs, being responsible for the relationship, brokering development of solutions and delivering both broad based and incentive compensation strategies and solutions to meet the needs of the business. Influences company wide compensation philosophies & strategies and evangelizes enterprise and/or frontline compensation approaches, guidelines and programs. Delivers consultative advisory to client group and provides subject matter expertise on compensation policies & practices. Identifies client group compensation structure and policy challenges and provides input to compensation strategy and program reviews. Influences road map for work priorities within and outside of compensation teams. Advises on market data and impacts on internal equity. Participates in the design and administration of company-wide programs related to base pay, bonuses, policies, sales compensation, and performance based compensation programs. May be a project lead on cross-functional projects.
