Our team supports senior-level DoD and service personnel with complex systems in the undersea domain. You'll leverage your specialized knowledge and expertise in Maritime Acoustic Intelligence, including applying scientific and engineering principles, criteria, and techniques to identify and assess threat system safety hazards and inform the implementation of mitigations to reduce warfighter risk. As a maritime acoustic specialist, you'll enjoy a dynamic team environment of client and contractor staff while executing research and development of seabed warfare infrastructure across multiple operational domains and mission areas. You'll apply advanced consulting, extensive technical expertise, and full industry knowledge. You will develop innovative solutions to complex problems. You Have: Experience with writing information papers and concepts of operation(CONOPs) Ability to analyze, research, assess, and organize technical data into cohesive and clear technical reports and presentations Secret clearance HS diploma or GED Nice If You Have: Experience with conducting system safety hazard analyses, risk assessment for identified hazards, use of hazard tracking systems, preparation of system safety risk acceptance documents, andpresentation to DoD system safety review boards Ability y to analyze acoustic data sets to derive qualitative and quantitative technical measurements from recorded acoustic data Ability to perform Acoustic Intelligence screening of acoustic data collections to develop acoustic tracks and signatures Possession of excellent critical thinking, analytical, and organizational skills Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills Clearance: Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required. Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $84,600.00 to $193,000.00 (annualized USD).
